Creature CollectionTardrix was a land of plenty, with lush jungles, rolling hills, and vast lakes that sparkled in the sun. People from all over the world flocked to Tardrix to see its wonders, and the people who lived there were prosperous and content.
But one day, disaster struck. The skies turned dark as ash filled the air, and the once-warm land grew cold. The people of Tardrix watched in horror as the snow and ice crept across the land, wiping out their crops and their way of life.
As the snow deepened and the temperatures dropped, the people of Tardrix realized that they would have to change if they wanted to survive. They abandoned their farms and took up the life of hunter-gatherers, following the migratory routes of the Grazers, great wooly beasts that roamed the tundra.
They built small, temporary villages from animal fur and bones, and placed them near geothermal hot springs along the Grazers' routes. When the herds returned to that area, the villagers would come back too, to hunt and gather. In this way, they were able to survive and thrive in the new, harsh environment.
The lakes that once dotted Tardrix, however, were no longer a source of life. The sudden temperature drop killed most of the aquatic life, and the lakes were now covered in a thick layer of ice. But the greatest danger lay beneath the surface, for the lakes were now home to fearsome leviathans that could carve through the ice itself in pursuit of prey.
Music had always been a part of Tardrix's culture, and after the fall, the bards of the land wanted to use their music to inspire and strengthen their communities. So they worked tirelessly, experimenting with new spells and techniques, until they discovered a way to bend the ice and snow to their will.
Now, the bards of each tribe are trained to use their music to create the things their communities need, from homes and bridges to roads and wells. They sing their magic into the icy landscape, shaping it to suit the needs of their people. And in this way, the people of Tardrix have not only survived, but thrived, in the frozen wasteland.
