SOCRPG is a text-based adventure played on Discord in the community-created world of Crius. An exciting new RPG that merges the fun of Dungeons and Dragons with the branching narratives of a Choose Your Own Adventure game! In the game you’ll create your own character to complete quests, battle foes, trade resources, craft items, adventure the realm, and so much more! Solo missions and group expeditions are available for all, along with monthly community events.
Filled with creatures and landscapes designed by our vibrant community, your ideas are what bring SOCRPG to life. You can find us on Twitch and help us create new creatures, NPCs, items, and lore that will shape the very fabric of the game world. Join the fun and unleash your imagination in our text-based fantasy game! We want everyone to be able to leave their mark on Crius.
The game works through button selection and typing a few basic commands when needed depending on what you're wanting to pull up.
Command List:
/create character - This is only used when making your characters and can only be used within the create character channel.
/my character - This opens your character page allowing you to view your inventory, equipped gear, stats, map, quest log, crafting, guild info, and your party.
/start duel - Start a duel with a friend and battle for gold or glory!
/start trade - Trade resources. *Note some items are class specific.
/my region - This gives you access to your current regions quest board, view shops, travel
/create party - create a party to enter into a dungeon crawl with! *Note, these parties don't apply to the quests only the dungeon crawls.
Keep in mind, commands only work in the designated SOCRPG channels. Not to mention, some channels are designated for specific actions such as character creation only being available within the "Character Creation" channel. If you ever lose your place or need anything at anytime feel free to reach out to our DM's or Mods.
