This magical realm owes its existence to the fey deity Tamatoea the Happy, who appears as a towering tree with features similar to the humble Tatoe Tot. Leaving behind the celestial realm where other gods reside, Tamatoea sought out a world to call their own with their own set of rules. Their roots stretched and grew across a previously empty dimension, giving birth to the breathtaking and diverse landscape of the Twilite Drift. The biomes of this realm are a patchwork of various habitats, with each type of plant, even the sentient ones, thriving in its own unique home region. Thus, a single area may contain a desert filled with forests of cacti, while another is a lush tropical jungle.

One of the Umbra gods who fell to Crius met an unexpected fate when they were flung off course and crashed into the fringes of the Twilite Drift. It became known as The Blighted One. The Blighted One’s exposure to the frenzied magic of the fey realm led to a descent into madness. They now roam the Twilite Drift as a shadow of their former divine self, stripped of their memories and purpose. The corrupting influence of this massive reptile is slowly but surely twisting the very fabric of the Twilite Drift, and its motives are unclear - whether it is acting out of fear and confusion or if it harbors a darker agenda.
