The Churn are ovivores, primarily consuming eggs that they mine from the glass walls of their underground homes. They also hunt for smaller animals in the deeper tunnel sections. They believe in the power of the Desert Shifter, a serpent godly figure they consider to be their protector. They see the Desert Shifter as a symbol of their ancestry, and protect it at all costs. They even go as far as stealing its eggs to raise as their own, using their fast digging abilities to create glass tunnels for their homes.
Their culture is centered around family and tradition, and they value their ancestral ties to the Desert Shifter. Dancing is their great form of art, with fast movements and acrobatics showcased in their confined underground spaces. The Churn are also deeply religious, incorporating serpentine themes into their art to signify their bonds to the community and the Desert Shifter.
In the Churn community, there are several jobs that each member took on. The farmers mine the glass walls for eggs, the travelers go above ground for resources, and the warriors protect the community from outside threats. The greatest warriors of the Churn are allowed to feast on the eggs of a Desert Shifter, granting them immense power.
