These tiny creatures, scarcely larger than an apple, possess a charming round body, stubby limbs, and a vibrant plant sprouting from their heads. As fey beings, the Tatoe Tots are blessed with innate magical power, however, their powers are limited to cantrips.

While the Tatoe Tots are unable to communicate through speech, they emit endearing squeaky noises that their fellow Tatoes and their close kin, the Kinlings, can comprehend. These curious creatures enjoy crafting whimsical contraptions, often utilizing wood and other available materials. Although they possess independent natures, Tatoes are commonly found in groups, as safety thrives in numbers. A collective of Tatoes can synchronize their magical energies, channeling their cantrips simultaneously to produce exponentially amplified effects.

Tatoes display an uncanny immunity to the passage of time, and many have existed since the earliest days of their fey deity's inception. Even when seemingly destroyed or slain, their essence returns to the ethereal realm of the Twilite Drift. Tatoes possess remarkable mastery over inter-realm travel, effortlessly flickering in and out of realms at will. This ability proves invaluable, as they must periodically visit the source of their creation otherwise they’ll experience a gradual withering of their body. Thus, their command over realm traversal ensures their uninterrupted vitality and continued existence in the mortal realms. Lastly, they propagate through a process of budding, wherein a new Tatoe sprouts from the original as a peculiar growth before eventually detaching and maturing into an identical form. The only distinction lies in the fact that the absorbed plant material during said process dictates the appearance of the foliage that blossoms atop the new Tatoe.
