Creature CollectionWhen I first came upon this creature I almost became its prey. I stood in wonder as it descended from the canopy above. If it were not for Lord Meeps I would surely not be here to speak of it. Though I was berated, I did point out the rareness of opportunity to study such an interesting specimen in close quarters.
The claws which I observed moving rather closely to my jugular appeared to be designed for penetrating the flesh. From my studies after this poor creature's time was cut short by Lord Meeps I found that the creature has one large claw upon its front hands used to poison and most likely subdue, not kill its victims. The poison itself though was rather hard to study from the carcass and I was forbidden to gain the same level of familiarity with the other living beasts.
Its fangs sharp like blades were perfect for a clean cut into the throat, surely to spill its prey's blood rather effectively. This of course led to the obvious observation that the red tint of its fur was not that of any natural coloring but of its feeding practices.
I would love to indulge in my curiosity further, but my traveling companions keep insisting on leaving. There is an even more deadly predator that awakens at night in these woods. I hope to come back and see this new monster myself, perhaps I can convince someone to sneak away from camp.
