Creature CollectionIn the depths of the void, where nothingness reigned, there came a moment of breathtaking transformation. A flicker of light pierced through the boundless void. From that minuscule glimmer, the first seeds of creation were sown. These fragments of light floated aimlessly, as tiny as grains of sand adrift in the vast expanse of nothingness. Over countless ages, they began to connect, dancing and swirling together in a mesmerizing spectacle. Drinera, a being of pure light and energy, emerged. However, this new existence demanded balance, and thus Tenebre also appeared, the embodiment of shadow. Together, with a resounding explosion, a mighty surge of power erupted, shattering the surrounding emptiness and creating what we now perceive as reality.
No longer a desolate void, this newly formed space teemed with celestial bodies, a tapestry of stars and planets that stretched across multidimensional vistas. It marked the dawn of existence, but something vital was still missing: life. In response, Drinera and Tenebre descended upon these worlds, infusing them with fragments of their consciousness and boundless energy. Thus emerged Vuntur, the deity of life and death, the first god to have a solid form. The vastness of her responsibilities strained her singular form, prompting her to periodically split into two entities: Senap, the god of creation, and Sebat, the goddess of death. Senap's duty lay in crafting diverse lifeforms to populate the lands, while Sebat sought to maintain balance by ensuring that the creatures passed on, their souls guided to her afterlife realm.
And so, the creatures flourished and perished in an eternal cycle. They fought for survival, learned new skills, and evolved over the centuries. Over time, the energy emanating from this grand design came together, giving rise to Nexum, an entity of magic. As more creatures inhabited the realms and evolved producing more magic, Nexum's power also grew. With a magnificent release of stored energy, he fashioned the very first sentient and intelligent being. From that pivotal moment, the evolution of self-aware, inquisitive, and imaginative creatures unfolded like an unstoppable avalanche. For better or worse, this cascade birthed a pantheon of new gods called the mortal forged, manifestations of mortal emotions, morals, and cultures.
Nexum drained from his creation, sought respite on the planet of Crius. However, this rest did not last. In a climactic clash with one of the mortal forged, Nexum fought for his very existence. One of the Mortal Forged wished to usurp his position while he was still weakened. In his harrowing escape, Nexum's lifeblood spilled out across the lands of Crius, leaving behind crystalline remnants, now revered as the bridge crystals. Though his current whereabouts remain unknown, the sentient beings he left in his wake are eternally grateful for the gifts of creation and magic he left behind. Among the many religions in Crius, the Tealith faithful hold him in high esteem, yearning for his return and the resurgence of his divine might.
