Surge Seals are blubbery aquatic mammals originally from the Nimbus Sea, now commonly found in coastal waters. With two sets of large flippers, they glide across the ocean's surface using special skin flaps connecting their front and back flippers. These unique mammals don't swim but rather skim gracefully over the waves, thanks to their divine origins that grant their fur magical properties akin to the walk on water spell. Surge Seals can often be seen riding the waves in groups or lounging on the beach. Their diet primarily consists of aquatic vegetation like kelp, which floats to the water's surface, though they occasionally catch fish just below the surface.
