Their bodies are soft and squishy, equipped with two pairs of eye stalks and stubby suction cup legs. These legs are crucial for maintaining their protective keratin shells. When threatened, Salt Spitters can expel a concentrated blast of salt water, typically targeting the eyes of predators before retreating back inside their hard shells.
