The Panarmis is a formidable, large feline that descended from a distant relative of the Monarch Maw, which once wandered into the fog forest and thrived. Over generations, the Panarmis evolved into a unique and fearsome predator. Unlike most felines native to Crius, this creature has four pairs of powerful legs, each ending in razor-sharp claws, and is covered not in fur but in a layer of armor-like scales. Its body ends in two agile, prehensile tails, which provide balance while climbing and leaping from tree to tree, and also serve a more extraordinary purpose: spellcasting. These highly flexible tails allow the Panarmis to perform the somatic components necessary to cast teleportation magic, though only within the fog of its forest home.

An intelligent and patient hunter, the Panarmis uses the fog’s natural concealment to its advantage, silently stalking prey from the treetops before dropping down with lethal precision. It is believed that the creature’s exposure to the sentient souls passing through the forest has granted it an understanding of most languages, though it remains incapable of speech.
