Considered an invasive species, the Meteor Mite comes from far off galaxies. Staying Dormant within asteroids as it travels through the cosmos looking for fresh worlds to inhabit. Fortunately for the people of Crius the planetary rings managed to stop these beings from reaching the surface. Since their arrival to the rings they have multiplied and now infest the planetary rings that surround Crius. The body structure is relatively simple with the most striking figure being their mouth, which contains hundreds of rotating teeth. Instead of chasing down their prey they utilize a form of telepathy leading prey to walk right into their open maws. When they need to move chitinous insectoid legs allow them to grip onto and jump from asteroid to asteroid. Living up above Crius’s atmosphere means these creatures are soaked in solar radiation. This radiation has granted the Meteor Mites a superheated bite as their teeth become and outlet for the solar energy.
