A cursed race of hulking, carnivorous beasts, Frigid Furs are humanoids who transform into massive, fur-covered predators whenever the temperature drops below a certain threshold. Their legend is one of alchemy gone terribly wrong—a desperate attempt by the alchemists of Tardrix to withstand the realm’s sudden, brutal descent into eternal winter. Seeking protection from the cold, they crafted an experimental potion from an unknown ingredient—only to find themselves warped into monstrous forms, cursed to roam the frozen expanse forever.

These transformed beings are far more than mindless brutes. While they lose all memory of their past selves, they retain a twisted intelligence, becoming cunning, sadistic hunters that revel in the terror they sow. Their physical strength and size swell with the freezing air, their bodies instinctively drawing upon the cold to enhance their power. By manipulating the frost around them, they can forge armor from solid ice, encasing themselves in glacial plates that shift and grow as they move. An eerie mist follows in their wake, a supernatural fog that cloaks their snowy-white bodies and makes them nearly invisible within blizzards.
