Fanged Fowls are bizarre hybrids of bird and arachnid, created through experimental alchemy in the now-defunct Everlab 14. When the lab fell, these creatures escaped into the wilds, eventually adapting to urban environments. Their small size, combined with the ability to both climb walls and fly, makes them highly elusive hunters.

While they primarily prey on common city pests, Fanged Fowls are notorious for their aggressive nature toward humanoids. Strangely, they do not attack out of hunger but rather out of a deep-seated animosity. Scholars theorize that this hostility stems from their origins—the painful experiments inflicted upon their ancestors likely instilled an innate hatred for their creators.

Though their venom is not particularly lethal, Fanged Fowls make up for it with relentless pack tactics, swarming victims in dark alleys or deserted streets. Their aggression has led to regular bounties posted by city officials, keeping their numbers sparse in most well-patrolled areas.
