When traversing the swamp one must always be weary, even something as simple as a puddle can be a death trap. This shape changers true form resembles a flat porous blob with two large bulbous eyes sitting on top. While hunting this creature absorbs water into its body like a sponge and digs a hole for itself in the muddy banks of swamps. Once the hole is perfected, they release the stored water filling the hole and completing the illusion. It then lies in wait for a creature to step on it, where pressure sensitive spikes shaped like arrowheads hiding underneathe its skin shoot out into its prey. Trapped the victim is helpless as the Cuddle Puddle wont release them until they have drained them of all their blood.
