This peculiar desert creature baffled researchers at first who were trying to figure out if it should be classified as a plant or animal. These small armored mammals have evolved excellent camoflauge to make the osteoderms on their backs resembled cacti, spikes and all. Even its ears have a similar size, shape and color to the cactus flowers. The comoflauge does not just apply to sight they are also able to emit a foul smell that mimics a rotten cactus to make them even less appealing. Camoflauge isnt their only source of defense, they have special quills that when exposed to enough solar radiation are able to be expelled from their bodies at attackers, not only stabbing their assaliants but burning them as well. When disguised the make sure to put their bakcs to the sun to tgive them better visuals on what is approaching and hampers a predators' vision. Unfortunate this does not always work against their primarty predator, the Under Monitor. These massive burrowing reptiles swim beneathe the harsh desert sands and love to eat Armadactus. Pups are born by budding out of their mothers back and look even more like a cactus when they are just born. They feed on vegetation and small insects.

This CR1/8 creature is called an Armadactus and is Beast that lives mostly within the Desert.
